CULTIVATING MY GARDEN

      After three decades of legal practice, I am taking a sabbatical.  I am enjoying the company of my family and friends, cultivating my garden, putting a dent in that mountain of unread books, hitting the slopes, making quilts, and learning how to take a nap.

      In my free time, I will reflect upon my work in family law, much of which has been devoted to seeking justice for women and their children.  When 2009 is closer at hand, I will decide whether to resume the practice of law or to pursue new challenges.
